Thrive Intervention Counseling PLLC (TIC) is a veteran-owned mental health private practice led by its owner and clinical director, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with 35 years of service. We offer both in-person sessions in Garland, Texas and HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions to ensure flexibility and accessibility. We specialize in helping clients manage and overcome a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, burnout, depression, grief, identity development, life transitions, post-traumatic stress disorder, stress, substance use/abuse, trauma and women-related issues. TIC’s expanded services reinforce the practice’s dual role as a provider of direct clinical care and as a contributor to both community rehabilitation and professional development within the mental health field. We proudly support the development of future mental health professionals by offering clinical supervision to Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPC-As) working toward licensure in the state of Texas. Additionally, we extend services to court-referred individuals through the Drug Offender Education Program (DOEP). Currently, we are a mental health provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare.
