DESCRIPTION:Gallery 219 at Eastfield College Presents: On Paper: Paul Greco\, Peter Ligon\, Jessica McCambly and Sunny Sliger\, February 19 – March 23. An Artist Reception will be held on Thursday\, March 1\, from 6 –8 p.m.\nThis exhibition focuses on artists who use paper as their primary medium. Paper is the surface upon which Jessica McCambly creates minimal and ephemeral forms. Paul Greco uses paper as a support and collaged images in his compositions of recontextualized nostalgic figures.  Peter Ligon creates straightforward and stylish plein air drawings of otherwise ignored neighborhood signs and structures. Sunny Sliger uses a background of paper for her layered\, patterned and tightly arranged elements of found and reformed materials.  \nGallery 219 is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and by appointment.  \n\nThe gallery is located on the main floor of the Fine Arts building (bldg"F").  Park and enter at the Performance Hall on the west side of campus.
