During the 82nd Legislative Session\, he passed bills to help with the detection\, assessment and education of students with dyslexia (SB 866 and SB 867)\; increase the safety of student athletes by improving concussion detection and treatment guidelines (HB 2038)\; and ensure senior citizens have access to quality\, affordable health care services that allow them to maintain their independence (HB 2903). Other key pieces of legislation from Deuell's career include a measure to attract movie and television production to the state (81st Legislative Session)\; a bill authorizing additional tools to prosecute repeat drunk drivers (81st)\; and Jessica's Law\, which enacted some of the harshest punishments in the nation for child molesters (80th).\n\n \n\nCurrently\, Sen.
