They are seeking a dynamic Director of Manufacturing Operations in Rockwall, TX. This confidential search represents a
respected employer with a strong legacy of innovation and quality.
This high-impact leadership role reports directly to the General Manager and owns the full manufacturing
operation — driving on-time delivery, production efficiency, quality compliance, and team development across a
vertically integrated environment.
What You'll Be Doing
• Leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery against production plans
• Managing and developing production personnel — from onboarding through performance reviews
• Owning scheduling, capacity planning, and resource alignment to meet internal and external customer
demands
• Evaluating and improving SOPs to drive measurable gains in efficiency, quality, and cost
• Championing 5S standards, housekeeping, safety compliance, and a continuous improvement culture
• Conducting in-process and finished goods quality inspections
• Collaborating cross-functionally to formulate capital and process improvement recommendations
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with plastics, polymer, compression molding, or thermoset processes (strongly
preferred)
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or ProE) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong command of data-driven decision-making, SPC, and statistical analysis
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget in a demanding environment
• Oracle ERP experience (a plus)
